Bhangra music, and dancing, is huge in India. It’s in all the movies, on the radio, and I wanted to write something that had that type of feel. Lyrically, this song is based on what I think is the greatest line in all songwriting, and David wrote it in the Psalms: “If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I make my bed in the depths, even there Your hand will find me, Your right hand will hold me fast.” This song is about the hope that springs from that beautiful promise.
