CC Performing “God of Wonders” Wakes Up ISS Crew Today

By Geof F. Morris | March 16, 2008

Of course, we all know that Caedmon’s Call is originally from Houston [even if half the band lives in Nashville these days], so perhaps it’s no surprise that a live rendition of CC performing “God of Wonders” was just used to wake up the crew on the International Space Station today.

And if you’re wondering, “Why does Geof know this?” Well, I work in manned spaceflight myself, and I happened to have NASA TV on knowing that they were doing crew wakeups. Imagine my happiness. The musical interlude was well-timed, as the music followed an orbital sunrise by about ten seconds.
