The Overdressed Tour kicked off last night in Arkansas, and rumor had it that the band was going to open the show with “My Calm, Your Storm”, the first song from the first CD they ever recorded. We hope to have more to tell you about it, but we have not received any reviews yet. (Though Rumor Forum member Michael did mention that the crowd was kinda dead last night…booo) When we do, we’ll pass them along.

Hopefully someone will be taping at least one of the shows on the tour. Does the band still allow tapers to plug into the soundboard?
I was at the show, and I would disagree that it was dead…it was just really small. As I was leaving I was thinking that I hope they don’t get discouraged by the low turnout, but since it was so small it felt like a much more intimate setting than a typical concert.
Gary: I don’t think the band minds [Cliff offered to get me a patch at the last show I attended, and I don't think that was just because I'm cc.net staff], but obviously folks need to do it in advance.
But I’ll tape the show I attend in two weeks. ;)
it definitely was not dead…they even commented to the opposite a couple of times. it was small, but very intimate and very personal. they DID start with “My Calm…,” which surprised me and let me know immediately it was not gonna be a night of the expected, but that was GOOD.
