Caedmon’s Call’s drummer Todd Bragg has written a poignant little article called The Gospel is Greener over at Glenn Lucke’s Common Grounds Online Blog.
In the article, Bragg talks about those times in life where we feel like the grass might be greener somewhere else, and how that relates to the need we often feel to fill that gap ourselves instead of looking to God. He even brings it all back to the title of the new Caedmon’s disc, saying,
“…Overdressed comes from the idea that since the Fall (see Genesis), in order to cover up our shame or our sin nature, we put on clothing that makes us look better before others and ultimately before God. Many times unknowingly trying to reconcile the broken relationship with our Creator.”
The article is a quick 4-minute read, so check it out if you get a chance.
