Great song… Simple message and really well written. The guys obviously put a lot of thought into moving in a new direction musically; it seems like a mixture of returning to their roots and finding a cool new voice. So glad that Derek is back too.. very cool. I’m looking forward to the rest of the album!

Very thought-provoking song. Derek and Danielle sound great, and it does harken back to an earlier era of this wonderful band. Needless to say, I’ll be all over the pre-sale of “Overdressed.” Spring of 2008 could not come soon enough…seeing Derek Webb play with Caedmon’s again live was a chance I did not think I would get once he went solo. What an exciting time to be a Caedmon’s fan.

Just awesome … can’t wait to hear the rest. Hearing these two together again brings back some great memories .. interesting thing is that I already hear the overall maturing process of the band in terms of music quality and lyrics. It will be interesting to see if the rest of the tunes depict this.
