Garett Selling Gear on eBay

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

If you’re looking for some percussion gear, Garett is auctioning some stuff off on eBay. First up is a hardly-used Cajon. We’ll update this as time goes by and Garett gets more gear ready for sale.

Also, I know that he recently found a stash of CDs of his solo percussion record that he didn’t know about and that he’ll be looking to move those, too … more on that when we know it.

1999 Guild Weekend DVD Available on IndieRiver

Monday, March 12th, 2007

Did you, like me, always end up missing Guild Weekends and wish that you could have been there? Now you can see what it was like. Scott took VHS recordings from Jeremy G and turned ‘em into DVDs, and you can now download the recording on indieriver.net. Please note that since this is 4+ GBs that it’s going to take you quite some time to grab it; I’ve been going for over a day and I’m just over one-third done.

Also, please take note of the fact that our recent firewall changes mean that your TCP port for IndieRiver has to be between 56000 and 56999. If you need help getting started with BitTorrent, Mark Smiley’s primer is on squarepegalliance.net. Worth doing, folks!

Garett Buell, world-renowned badass.

Happy birthday, Garett. :)

updates abound

The band has finished their first recording session in Nashville and they sound pretty excited about it. Andy O is really happy with where the band is halfway through. Todd agrees that things are going swimmingly.

Caedmonscall.com
has a new splash page up with photos and blogged comments from the band. Cliff has even left a comment! color me amazed. If “the guy in the hat” is excited about the album, then count me in too.
