Andy O on the next CC disc

From Andy O’s blog regarding ITCOA2 and the next Caedmon’s disc:

During the making of that album [Andrew's, The Morning], Caedmon’s did a record-contract-fulfilling worship album that was better than it should have been but still bombed, probably because no one really cared about, from the label or the band. That really is unfortunate. The band is in a very excited state right now, though, as we’re planning and writing and gearing up for a new chapter, free from our old contract and other junk. I’m pretty jazzed about where it’s going, to tell you the truth. And I told you I wasn’t jazzed about that worship record, so you can trust me.

Just thought I’d pass that along.

Oh, and Guild 2 and Guild 3 CDs are now $5 a piece in the Caedmon’s Online Store. This is only for Guild 5 Members. At some point in the near future the price will be raised (probably back up to around $10) and the CDs will be offered to the public. So if you want to take advantage of this deal, better to do it now and not put it off.

  1. Sure, Andy points to CMCentral rather than us, even when CMC got their info from us.

We see how it is, Osenga! The cc.net Wedgie Wagon comes to town on Monday!

  2. I wish to retract the above and now blame Bryan, having since read Andy’s longer entry and realizing that Bryan did the linking and not Andy.

    I love you, Andy.

Bryan, what were you thinking?! ;)

you know i love it when our little site gets some dap from a bigger dog. lots of folks read cmcentral.com, so i thought i’d remind everyone that we break the stories that other folks run. that’s how i roll.
