Caedmon’s Call’s Fall Tour Starts

Thursday, October 30th, 2003

29 shows in 46 days and it all kicks off tonight in Grapevine, TX. If you think of it, keep the band in your prayers as they head out to the West Coast with Jars of Clay for these last two months of the year. We’ve heard that the band will be working two new cover songs into their set, a Paul Simon tune and a Patty Griffin tune. If by chance we happen to get a studio demo of the band rehearsing the songs, we’ll let you know. Get out to a show if you can, check our tour dates page for all the info.

Fall Tour Dates Announced

Monday, October 6th, 2003

We know that you’ve probably heard the news that Caedmon’s Call is going back on tour with Jars of Clay starting at the end of October. If you’re looking for tour information, please see the new tour information page. The look and feel of this page may change gradually over the next few weeks, but this page will always have the best information that we at [caedmonscall.net] have about tour dates. We will also be adding ZIP code search functionality as time goes by, as well as the ability for users to indicate that they will attend certain shows, allowing folks to plan to meet up before or after the show.

Caedmon’s Call to Travel Abroad to Record

Wednesday, October 1st, 2003

If you’re a frequenter of our Rumor Forum or if you’ve seen Caedmon’s in concert lately, you might have heard some of the buzz surrounding the band’s next album. While things are still in the development stage at this point, here’s what we can confirm. The band will be traveling to at least three other continents to make their next album. Tentative locations at this point are South America, Africa, and possibly a trip to India. While on location, the band will be doing some writing and recording with people native to these areas in hopes that the record will capture a sense of the cultures they will be visiting.

No date has been set yet for the album release, but we hear that the trips abroad will be beginning as early as Spring ‘04. When we hear more you can count on us to pass it along.
