We’re just seven days away from the release of Caedmon’s Call’s eighth studio album, Back Home! You can still pre-order one to get your free “10th Anniversary of Caedmon’s Call” poster from grassrootsmusic.com.
Alas, we are not that lucky. The new forum [and, we promise, the last one ... this week] is up. You will have to register again. We apologize … again.
The Rumor Forum will be converted from YaBB SE to phpBB tonight in an effort to clear up a violation of our Web host’s Terms of Service. It is our expectation that we will be able to convert everything over and not start from scratch again. Starting from scratch probably results in a certain staff member losing his mind…
We are officially two weeks away from the release of Caedmon’s Call’s most recent studio offering, Back Home! The staff here at [caedmonscall.net] has been fortunate enough to hear the pre-release of the record, and we all agree that Back Home will spend the next month climbing the “favorite Caedmon’s album” lists of CC’s many fans. Don’t forget to pre-order one to get your free “10th Anniversary of Caedmon’s Call” poster.
The Rumor Forum is alive again.
The great folks at christianwebhost.com have pointed their DNS records at our new server’s IP address until the change happens. DNS is still propogating about the Internet, but … we’re back. Thanks for your patience.
Due to unforseen circumstances, the Rumor Forum was lost in the move. We are terribly sorry for this occurrence–it frustrates and disappoints us at least as much as it does you. This means that you will have to re-register. The forum will be installed by 1900 EST today.
If you can read this, the server move is complete. A nice, detailed explanation for this craziness will be available soon. We certainly didn’t anticipate what happened, and we’re sorry for the unexpected downtime.
We’ve received word from an inside source that Danielle Young has decided to take some time off from the band in order to stay at home in Houston with the Youngs’ two daughters. In an attempt to fill her role in the band, our sources are telling us that the band is accepting bids from other female recording artists. Though there is no clear cut favorite at this point, we hear that the list of those in contention includes Twila Paris, Charlotte Church, Leigh Nash, Shakira, Debbie Gibson, Megan Tardiff, RuPaul, and Christie Bragg. If we hear anything else regarding this rumor, we will pass it along.
